By submitting images to Rare Birds Yearbook, you grant Rare Birds Yearbook and BirdLife International the right
to publish, printed or electronically, submitted photographs.

Photographers will be credited.

You may enter as many pictures as you wish but Rare Birds Yearbook/BirdLife International are not required to use submitted entries.

Images showing birds at nests cannot be entered into the competition.

Images may be submitted electronically in the following format; JPG, TIFF and EPS.
In the box, please state the name of the image and species, date, place and photographer.

Are your pictures not in a digital format?

Please make sure you include the following information:

Your name
Full mail address
Email address
Telephone numbers
Fax if applicable
species, place taken and year taken for each picture

Photos sent by regular mail will be returned with the same type of postage (e. g. registered) as they have been submitted with.

Non-digital photos will be returned before 31st December 2008.

Rare Birds Yearbook / BirdLife International will not forward any addresses (email or otherwise) to a third party.

By submitting photos, the entrant:
guarantees that he/she owns the copyright to the work or any part of the submitted work.
holds Rare Birds yearbook, BirdLife International and the publisher MagDig Media harmless from any claims, actions, proceedings costs and expenses that may arise as a result from allegations that the copyright or ownership of the entered work does not belong to the entrant.

Photographers shall not object to any cropping or other minor alteration of the works for the purpose of including
them in the published material.

The competition closes on May 31st 2008.
